Bike Issue 10.0

In the Pearl, I saw these cool looking bikes.  The first bike is a vintage looking, the second I'm not sure, and I love the third bike.  It has a beautiful black racing frame with cool European looking handles.  I'm not sure about the brand but it says Peugot on it which I know is a car brand, but not sure if it's a bike brand also.  Enjoy.

India Madness!!!

We tried this new Indian food place 11th and Yamhill in downtown called India Chaat House and it was really good.  The got the special which was only $5 and included three different dishes, naan bread, rice and chai tea.  The special alone was enough for the two of us.  This was the gateway into our India food craze.  Next to this place is another Indian truck called Bombay Chaat House.  We'll try that one next time.  But I'm happy about this dish. Very good!!!

Bike Issue 9.0

Here are some cool bikes I came across in downtown Portland.  I love this classic/vintage looking bike on the left.  This is the first of many post of my new found interest in bikes.  Enjoy.

7 Days of Sunny June

I decided to walk around in the Pearl and see what cool things or places I can find.  Among the interesting places was a store called Cargo with an eclectic collections of asian/vintage items (picture of pink wall by the stairs). It was a cool city walk and perfect while listening to Jamiroquai's "Seven days in sunny June".

Ready, Set, Eat!!!

I can never get a good front shot of my dog because she doesn't like me taking pictures of her. So I decided to put some food next to my camera because she'll focus on the food. Go figure.

Bikes!!!

A couple weeks ago, I saw these really cool bikes.  The first one was in the Pearl district and the second bike which I think looked really cool was in front of Montage under the Morrison bridge.  I like that guys' shoes also.

Labor Day Weekend

This labor day weekend, we decided to start our trifty phase in life by going to the Goodwill outlet store, so we decided to visit 2 goodwill stores while we were in Seattle.  Other than the goodwill stores, we went to the Fremont Flea Market in the Fremont district to see what they have.  Turns out it was a cool collection of vendors and food booths.  There was a lot of flea type vendors selling lots of random old things that I find very cool, lots of old vinyls, vintage furniture, and hippie clothes.  There was a good collection of food booths also like gyros, mexican food, and a really good food truck called Maximus Minumus.  At Maximus Minumus we ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was really good.  I was amazed with the crispiness of the pork and the crunch you get with the bread is perfect.  See picture below. We went to a cool park called Gas Works Park, ate at Garam Masala at U district and at Red Mill Burger at the Ballard neighborhood.
