Brooklyn, NY

Here are some pictures from my recent trip to New York.  The trip awesome and probably one the highlights of this year.  One of the first places we went to in New York was this place called Dahlia's Cafe.  It was a nice little cafe offering food and coffee. 

I saw this cool terrarium with the figurine in a clothing store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The Look

One night I was watching TV and all of the sudden I had a feeling someone was watching me.  Guess who it was?  As I turned my head around scoping the room I found Keila watching me in this pose giving me "the look."  My heart melted, took some pictures of her and gave her some treats.

Esperanza

This is probably one of the coolest things I did this year.  I went to a jazz concert review featuring Esperanza Spalding.  What an amazing Jazz musician and a Portland native.  I had a chance to hear her talking about music theory and dynamics. For beginners new to her music, start with her second album.

Here is another one of my sudden random urge to do an abstract design. I started seeing circles in my head and this is how I interpreted it to a physical form.

Vintage Pearl

I love Tanner Spring Park in the Pearl.  I always try to explore the parts of the Pearl that I've never been to before but somehow always find myself coming back here.  Not complaining though.

Spring Is Here!!

Spring is finally here!!!  I'm ready for the rain and the cold weather to be gone!!!

Hello There

Hi everyone.  Sorry there were no new posts for a while.  I'm transitioning between a new camera and the Portland weather.  Here are some shots of my main model, Keila my dog.  She likes sleeping and laying on the floor all day.  And also the occasional snack here and there.  Cheers.
