London: Chalk Farm

So from the Camden Lock area in London, we walked towards Chalk Farm which was basically just an extension of Camden Lock.  The area had fewer stores and less hectic than Camden Lock.

There were some cool wall murals and other stuff on the streets in Chalk Farm.

We went to this place called the RoundHouse which was a performing arts place for music, dance and all other types of performances.  The space was weird and cool in the same time, very interesting place.

Last, I ran into this wall art in the area between Chalk Farm and Primose Hill. I think it might be a Bansky art piece by the look of it.

London: Camden pt. Duo

The market and the more exciting part of Camden is an are called Camden Lock.  The have small stores, coffee shops, eateries and overall just an interesting place to go to.  This part of London had older buildings so it has that grunge feeling, but then again that's the kind of thing I enjoy.

The area above is where Camden Lock, the market part of Camden starts.  You can tell because you start seeing all these street vendors everywhere.

Camden lock is just this huge complex of small stores selling an eclectic collection of clothes, vintage items, leather bags, jewelery and unique stuff.  It's exactly like the Saturday Market in Portland but just bigger and it's opened seven days a week.

They had these pools where you put your feet it and the fishes inside eat away dirt and dead skin off your foot so you can have healthy foot.  Gross.

The food area is a collection of fish & chips, asian, indian, turkish food and many more.  I love this area because there was a canal right by the area so people just eat there and they place where you eat be the canal had moped seats as your seating place.  Love it. 

London: Camden pt. Uno

On our second day in London, we went to Camden which is an area in northern London.  We went here because there were many charity shops and a huge market in the Camden Lock area.  By the way, charity shops is just the English version of thrift stores.

The thing I love about London are the old building and the compact urban feel of it.  Places like these are personally more photogenic and makes a nicer picture. 

Yes, falafel is awesome.

Oxfam was one of many charity shops we went to in Camden.

London: Millennium Bridge

One of my favorite memories of London was crossing the Millennium bridge from Tate Modern towards St. Paul's Cathedral. The views in all direction was amazing. There was the cathedral which was huge towards the north, Tate Modern to the south and nice views of the Thames to the left and right.

The details of the cathedral is amazing.

I still can't believe how big St. Paul's Cathedral is.  Even on the other side of the Thames, the cathedral already looked enormous.

I have no idea how much 40 tonnes of rubbish looks like, but I imagine is a lot!!

London: The Hays Galleria

Along the waterfront walk after passing city hall was this interesting place with a collection of restaurants, coffee shops and small store with a rooftop covering over the place called the Hays Galleria.  We got there during lunch time so there were many people out eating in the galleria.  The place is amazing with the tall roof covering the stores.

From Shad Thames, we walked west along the waterfront towards Westminster.  There was this cool but odd looking building which instantly caught my eye.  It turns out this egg shaped building is the city hall building.  The whole waterfront walk was amazing.
